Research students in the Centre for Statistical and Survey Methodology would usually have an Honours 1 or 2(1) degree in Statistics, or an equivalent qualification, such as a Masters in Statistics with a very high grade point average and strong research potential. For some topics in survey methods an Honours or Masters degree in another discipline combined with relevant professional experience may be acceptable.

Students will usually commence in either Autumn Session (late February) or Spring Session (late July) and should contact us several months before you intend to commence your studies.
